		<description>Good day HYDROLYZE.
I tried the unit myself in flight and the unit was working fine but you have to make sure it has a clear &amp; direct acces to the sky. In other words you can&#039;t put it under your seat or in your flight bag. It needs to be located somewhere on the glareshield of the aircraft.

One of our readers on facebook Martin Gagnon from the Canadian Forces, has responded to a distress call (Mayday). The aircraft was found 2 hours later in a very isolated location, completely lost in the woods. He said that the occupants have been very pleased to see the Canadian Forces over their head. You can also read more about the Spot within the latest issue of the EAA Sport Aviation Magazine Feb 2010 edition, page 62 to 67. Good acticle. Spot seems to have its limitation but à $99, it can truly save lives. I will have it onboard with me on every cross-country flight from now on.
