Fred Dingemans (CEO & CFO)

Fred has progressed through market and corporate finance with the National Bank of Canada and Statestreet. Therefore he is undeniably a grounded professional.

His consulting and subsequent work with Tata Communications specifically focused on seeking and bringing exciting business models to fruition. He possesses a great business acumen and a strong interest in disruptive technologies. Consequently Fred found himself flying high with BuddyPilots and is thrilled with its vision and potential.

To use his own words : “BuddyPilots is to General Aviation what radio/net is to music : a global network where demand and supply meet”. There is a lot more to BuddyPilots and tuning in is a must.

André Carrier (President & Founder)

André is a young creative entrepreneur with a genuine passion for General Aviation (GA), technologies and innovative solutions. He is a pilot with a vision. He strongly believes that the field of GA can and should play a greater role throughout the world in the years to come. “It just makes plane sense!” he says. He is also convinced that modern Web technologies and simple innovative solutions can be the key to ease and transform GA’s business.

With BuddyPilots, André wants to create a unique place for pilots, flying enthusiasts, families and GA’s actors to meet, work and thrive in increasing commercial exchanges while having fun and sharing their passion for flying. He also attaches a lot of importance to a greener GA future and would like modern aviators and aviation companies to care more about people and our planet.

For more than 10 years, he worked for Teleglobe Canada and Tata communications where he envisioned and implemented innovative software solutions. His drive and leadership have led him to work around the world to share his vision and ideas. André believes in small connected teams, passion-driven and committed people who work hand in glove towards a common vision.

With his partners, André is dedicated to bringing BuddyPilots’ global vision to higher skies!

Pierre Rousseau (Vice-President & Founder)

As well as being BuddyPilots’ vice president and co-founder, Pierre also deals with product development and the general administration of the company. Prior to that, he was a senior planner for Tata Communications, a world leader in integrated communication services but his primary duty was to develop key performance indicators for the Implementation Division. Pierre also was a thriving supervisor at Unitel Communications responsible for major Montreal-area customers.

Amongst his various experiences, he invented a game called “Express Route” and won a silver medal on the occasion of an international competition. Following this success, he founded Pacific Games Ltd in order to market it. Additionally, he has been an active community member as a church manager and a Caisse Desjardins administrator. He is currently engaged as an advisor for a musical non-profit organization as well as an administrator for a community credit foundation.

His resourcefulness, adaptability and motivation are a plus factor to our project. He is eager to develop and implement new solutions to address current challenges of GA’s community which is ready for new tools and services. He is now an enthusiast student pilot and claims that nothing can replace the feeling one experiences when a few thousand feet above ground.

Jonathan Girard (CCSO)

Young, dynamic and up-and-coming, Jonathan has the profile & wings to reach high. With a commercial pilot license and an expertise in logistics, Web platforms, catalogs & Web supplies, he is an asset that diversifies & enriches the BuddyPilots team.

His experience in large companies such as Alcoa & Komatsu brings an international vision to the project. Jonathan is passionate about aviation and joined the team with the ambition of bringing a wind of fresh air to the world of General Aviation.

Sébastien Malherbe (Lead Designer – Partner)

Sébastien is a designer, front-end coder and ergonomist who is seriously committed to his work. His brilliant career is marked by a series of successful collaborations with renowned web companies such as Dailymotion.com, Yahoo France or even Ziki.com. Buddypilots is proud to announce that Sébastien has now become an enthusiastic member of our team. His goal is simple: to turn Buddypilots into the most accessible and the best internet software ever.

He shows a strong interest in every aspect of web design but his speciality remains user interface design. The complexity and challenges that Buddypilots’s development represents will spice up our work and keep us striving to find the best graphic solutions possible.

His experience with the internet as an analyst and ergonomist and his positive energy will bring the final touch to our project.
